Krispy Kreme Just Dropped Its Cutest Doughnut Yet

If there’s one thing that lets us know this year is flying by, it’s how often Krispy Kreme changes its doughnut collections. Honestly, we still feel as if the holidays just ended, but Krispy Kreme’s latest collection of seasonally-themed doughnuts let us know we’re already heading into mid-April. 

It seems like just last week we were telling you about the bakery’s Chocomania Collection, a collaboration with Hershey’s. It actually was just last week that we covered the Fruity Pebbles Milk Glazed Doughnuts, a first-of-its-kind doughnut drop from the brand. We suppose those limited-edition collabs were there to fill that gap between two spring holiday collections—the St. Patrick’s Day’s Taste ‘O Luck Collection and the newly released Easter Collection.

With the speed at which the bakery is releasing new, gotta-try-’em treats, we’d better just get on with it and tell you about the latest quartet of limited-time doughnuts, before Krispy Kreme goes ahead and announces its next one.

Krispy Kreme’s New Hoppy Easter Collection 

Easter is on the later side this year, hoppening (yes, we went there) this year on Sunday, April 20. While the holiday lasts just one day, Krispy Kreme’s Hoppy Easter Collection is available for the next two weeks, most likely disappearing soon after the holiday.

What can you expect to find in the new collection? Three new bunny-themed Easter doughnuts and one returning favorite. 

• Bunny Basket Doughnut: Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, decorated with chocolate flavored buttercream, and topped with a confectionery bunny. 
• Marshmallow Bunny Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with marshmallow-flavored Kreme, dipped in pastel yellow icing, and decorated with a bunny face and confectionery ears.  
• Bouncing Bunny Doughnut: Original Glazed doughnut dipped in pastel blue icing and sprinkles, and topped with a bouncing bunny.
• Strawberry Iced Doughnut with Sprinkles: Original Glazed doughnut dipped in strawberry-flavored icing and pastel sprinkles. 

The new doughnuts are available at Krispy Kreme shops nationwide individually or by the dozen. If you don't have a Krispy Kreme location nearby, you can also find the Hoppy Easter Collection in six packs to select grocery retailers.
